Privacy
Effective 28 August 2026
Reminder Mailroom is built to keep mail processing on your computer. We do not operate a service that receives or stores your mailbox content.
What stays on your device
Your mailbox settings, sorting rules, PDF hashes, invoice thread keys, and audit history are stored locally. IMAP and SMTP passwords are stored by your operating system’s credential manager. Email content is read only when it matches a rule you created, and travels directly between your computer and the mail servers you configure.
License verification
If you buy Mailroom Plus, the app sends only your license token and product slug to the Sociobot license API at api.sociobot.in. A validity result and last-check time are cached locally for up to one day. The checkout is operated by Sociobot/Dodo as merchant of record and is governed by the privacy information presented there.
Website data
This website loads no third-party fonts, analytics, ads, tracking pixels, or embedded media. It fetches the public release manifest from GitHub so it can offer the correct installer. If you restore a license on this site, the token is stored in your browser’s local storage.
Your control
You can export the audit as CSV. Removing the app’s data directory clears settings, rules, hashes, and history; removing its credential entries clears passwords. Uninstalling alone may leave those records so reinstalling is safe.
